Missionaries and members, together

A primary focus for President and Sister Gadberry is the partnership between missionaries and members. They teach that when the two work together, the Lord opens doors and prepares hearts in remarkable ways.

Small miracles in the mission

Experiences the mission presidency has shared with families.

A prompting in the rain

Missionaries felt prompted to visit a Bellevue park during a heavy rainstorm. Only two people were there. One was a woman who had recently moved to the area and quietly drifted from church. When they shared that God had led them to her, she was deeply touched, and a few days later she reached out, wanting to come back.

“Finally!”

After a long day of finding, missionaries knocked on one last door. As they walked away, a woman ran after them in tears calling “Finally!” She had been reading the Book of Mormon for nearly a year, hoping to meet the missionaries.

“The Lord is preparing people everywhere.”
